According to Tuttosport, Inter Milan ‘started to court’ Moise Kean a year ago before he joined Everton and are keen to bring him to the San Siro this summer. Tuttosport say the 19-year-old ‘did not feel well’ at Goodison Park and ‘dreams of returning’ to Italy after a disappointing debut season in England.

Which club did Everton loan Cenk Tosun out to in January?

Kean has made 26 appearances in all competitions for Everton, scoring one goal and making two assists. He’s spent the majority of the campaign behind Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the pecking order under Carlo Ancelotti and may be replaced if reports are to be believed.

Everton have been linked with a move for Torino’s Andrea Belotti, Napoli’s Hirving Lozano and Club Brugge’s Emmanuel Dennis. On the flipside, Oumar Niasse could be released this summer, Sando Ramirez may return to Spain and Cenk Tosun will be available for sale, so there could be a void in attack for a new face.

Kean has four years remaining on his deal, but he’s been an afterthought at Everton. As per Transfermarkt, the Italian international started only five Premier League games and amassed less than 700 minutes of top-flight football.

If Everton brought in Belotti, Lozano or Dennis, Kean’s role would be further diminished. A lot was expected of the 19-year-old on Merseyside, but he hasn’t lived up to his billing and could be on his way out.
