According to The Sun via HITC, Everton hope to sell Sandro Ramirez this summer. The 24-year-old has been out of favour at Goodison Park for the last two-and-a-half years but Everton have struggled to find a suitor willing to pay. The Sun say Carlo Ancelotti has no desire to reintroduce him to the first-team next season, so a departure looks on the cards in the coming months.

Which club did Everton loan Cenk Tosun out to in January?

Sandro joined Everton from Malaga in 2017 and has gone on to make 16 appearances in all competitions, scoring just one goal and making two assists. The Spanish striker struggled for playing time almost immediately after joining the club and was loaned out just months into his debut season.

After making eight Premier League appearances without scoring, Sandro spent the second half of the campaign at Sevilla where he also failed to ripple the back of the net in 18 games, as per Transfermarkt. He spent the following season (2018/19) on loan at Real Sociedad, making 26 appearances without scoring.

And because Everton failed to find a club willing to sign Sandro permanently, they were made to settle for another loan move away last summer. The 24-year-old joined Real Valladolid and made 21 appearances before the campaign was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

With Sandro having scored just four goals since November 2017, it’s hardly a surprise Ancelotti doesn’t want him. The Everton manager has Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Moise Kean at his disposal and looks to be planning a big-money spend on another centre-forward – Hirving Lozano, Andrea Belotti and Arkadiusz Milik have been linked.

It remains to be seen where Sandro will end up, but Everton won’t care so long as they make some money back.
