This morning we reported that Dele Alli was in “well advanced” talks with a move to Turkish side Beşiktaş, since then it has been announced by Fabrizio Romano that Dele is on his way to Turkey to finalise his move. Another player that has been constantly been linked with a move away over the last week is Anthony Gordon.

Last week we reported that Everton had rejected a bid in the region of £40M from Chelsea for the winger, and since then they have also had a £50M bid rebuffed and with rumours that Chelsea are prepared to offer £60M for Gordon, (£50M plus an additional £10M in add ons) Everton and Frank Lampard need to decide soon if Gordon is for sale or not.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Gordon has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea and is keen on a move as he believes that having the opportunity to play in European competitions will only enhance his chances of getting picked for England.

After Everton’s 1-0 win over Fleetwood Town last night, manager Frank Lampard had the following to say when asked about Anthony Gordon.

“Everyone knows there’s interest from Chelsea but he’s our player, simple as that.”

When asked if Gordon has asked to leave Goodison Park were true, Lampard said:

“I’m never going to go into conversations between me and Anthony. We’ve got a good relationship and I won’t even go there.”

What do you make to Frank Lampard’s comments?
