Everton have rejected a £40 million bid from Chelsea for 21 year old winger Anthony Gordon with Chelsea potentially returning with a revised bid including a player as Frank Lampard has wanted more than one Chelsea player this summer window. Via (@FabrizioRomano)

Fans posted polls on twitter after news broke about the Chelsea offer and surprisingly many fans wouldn’t mind seeing Gordon leave the club because of the size of the bid.  ellis on Twitter: “Anthony Gordon” / Twitter

Reactions also came from Sky Sports pundit and former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher said “That’s a lot of money for a young player just coming onto the scene. I don’t see how Everton would accept that right now. They’re lacking attacking players and he’s the one big hope for the club. He’s a local lad and he’s the one they are all hanging their hats on. I think it will have to be a lot higher than that (£40m) for Everton to accept that.” Via (@SkySportsPL)

Gordon played 35 games last season for Everton registering 4 goals and 2 assists but also playing a vital part of Everton’s relegation survival with his hard work and desire, running at defenders also creating chances. Via (TransferMarkt)

Would you Accept a revised bid for Anthony Gordon or would you keep him?

Everton at all cost can not sell gordon! Not only is he a local lad who grew up supporting everton but when everything was against us last season he was a shinning light. That lad will give everything n more for this club and that’s a rear thing in football….if Everton sell my 32 years supporting the toffees is over as it shows there’s no loyalty or ambition
