Today marks the 30th anniversary of the Premier League as on this day 30 years ago Sheffield United played Manchester Utd in the first ever game and won 2-1 but we’re here to look at Everton’s 30 years spent in the Premier League and if it has been a success or not.

The Blue’s first ever Premier League game was at Goodison Park against Sheffield Wednesday which ended in a 1-1 draw with Barry Horne equalising on the stroke of half time after the visitors took the lead in the 15 minutes, Everton went on to finish 13th in the at the time 22 team league.
