Earlier in the week reports started circulating that Everton and Fulham where in the race to sign Brighton & Hove Albion striker Neal Maupay and it seems that Everton have won that race with sources confirming that French forward was completing his medical at finch farm the past two days with Everton expected to register the player before the 12:00 noon deadline to feature this weekend away to Brentford. Maupay has not featured this season for Graham Potter’s side as his contract expires next season as has been looking for a move away this summer, having not played any games this season the forward played 32 league games season scoring 8 goals and 2 assists finishing joint top Brighton goal scorers with Leandro Trossard. Everton have been in the market for a striker since the injury of Dominic Calvert-Lewin before the start of the season and it seems they have now got that in Neal Maupay, Everton may also add more striking options with talk ongoing with Blackburn Rovers for the sale of Chilean Ben Brereton Diaz.

Will Maupay add more goals to Frank’s Everton side?

Would you want Brereton Diaz too?
