According to Sky Sports, Everton ‘could consider a move’ for Jack Grealish this summer as Marcel Brands is ‘an admirer’ of the 24-year-old. Grealish has been in fine form for Aston Villa this season and has interest from Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. Whether Everton can afford the England U21 international remains to be seen, however, as his asking price has skyrocketed to £60m.

Which club did Everton loan Cenk Tosun out to in January?

Grealish rose through the youth ranks to the Villa first-team in 2013 and has gone on to make 177 appearances in all competitions, scoring 24 goals and making 31 assists. The 24-year-old has been particularly impressive in 2019/20 with nine goals and eight assists in 31 games, so it’s easy to see why Everton are keen.

As per WhoScored, Grealish has had a hand in 13 goals in 26 Premier League outings, creating 69 chances, winning 16 aerial duels (41%), making 58 successful dribbles (63.7%), having 55 shots with 30.9% accuracy, completing 84.4% of his 1036 passes, whipping in 99 crosses with 18% finding a teammate, blocking 36 passes/crosses/shots, winning 127 free-kicks and averaging a tackle (26) or interception (13) every 60 minutes.

Despite having Richarlison, Alex Iwobi, Theo Walcott and Bernard at their disposal, Everton are looking to strengthen their attack. Bernard has been linked with a move to AS Roma while Walcott could be sold this summer, so the Toffees have been eyeing Jesse Lingard, Cengiz Under and Wilfried Zaha as potential replacements.
