Everton have improved significantly under the guidance of Marco Silva this season, boasting a fine run of just two defeats in their last nine Premier League matches.
That impressive sequence includes two victories in three matches in November, with the other result being a goalless draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and that has seen Silva nominated for November’s Manager of the Month award.
Silva has been shortlisted alongside Newcastle’s Rafael Benitez, Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino and Huddersfield’s David Wagner in what is a very tight battle to call.
After the announcement of the six candidates, many Everton fans took to social media to share their thoughts on Silva’s inclusion and took the opportunity to heap further praise on the Portuguese boss.
