Everton have improved significantly under the guidance of Marco Silva this season, losing just two of their last nine Premier League matches and standing unbeaten in all but one of their matches at Goodison Park.
However, the recent results against Liverpool and Newcastle United have provided further evidence that further work is required to improve the Toffees’ threat in front of goal – where the lack of a top-class centre-forward is obvious.
