Everton will end the week with a feeling that two huge points were dropped against Newcastle United after being held to a 1-1 draw by the Magpies.
Salomon Rondon opened the scoring for the visitors before Richarlison equalised prior to the interval, although Everton failed to kick on and struggled to create clear-cut opportunities to break down Rafael Benitez’s side.
Fans were understandably frustrated by a result that could prove to be decisive over the busy festive period, with stern tests against Manchester City and Tottenham right around the corner, and many took to social media to vent their frustrations.
Seamus Coleman was singled out for individual criticism after some fans were left unimpressed by the latest performance of the Republic of Ireland international, with some very choice words used that we will not share.
Instead, we have gathered some of the more tame reactions to his performance below.
Watching Seamus Coleman's brain scramble for ideas when he's on the ball is both funny and painful

Seamus Coleman stunk the place out last night.
Was he cupping his ear whilst crossing the ball out of play?

Trying to remember the last decent cross Seamus Coleman put in.

Unpopular opinion. Seamus Coleman is absolutely garbage. Get in the bin 🗑 🖕

Going forward he is nowhere near good enough and hasn't been for a while. Slows everything down and passes sideways or backwards

And finally, Coleman's time is crawling to a close. If Digne is having an off night on his side of the pitch, you really notice even more how little Coleman is giving the team going forward anymore. Less that he was awful tonight and more that he was exceedingly ineffectual. #EFC

Digne and Coleman were both awful tonight. Needed that final ball #EFC
