Everton have undergone a significant transformation under the guidance of Marco Silva and, while there is still work to be done, major improvements have been shown.
The Toffees invested heavily in their squad during the summer and the defence was an area that was an area of significant focus, with Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina brought in alongside Chelsea loanee Kurt Zouma.
All three have proven their worth for Everton so far this season and, with Michael Keane also on the books and back to his best form, it has given Silva’s side strong defensive depth – and it seems this will result in an outgoing deal in January.
According to reports, Everton are preparing to send Mason Holgate out on loan to earn valuable first-team experience and fans have been given their view on the situation, with many agreeing that this is the right move from their club.
