In-demand ace holds talks over summer move amid Everton links, report claims

Thomas Meunier is very much a man in demand, with reports claiming that Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all hot on his case. We have also been linked with the Belgian defender in the past, and now a column in France has claimed he’s held talks with several Premier League sides.

Le Parisien, via Le10 Sport, ran a piece in the Tuesday edition of their magazine claiming that Meunier has begun to seek out a new venture in England, as his time in the Paris Saint-Germain squad nears its end.

It is not stated who the Premier League sides Meunier, or his representatives, have reached out to ahead of the summer window are, however. Meaning Man Utd could still be the leading candidate for his signature, having placed the Belgium international toward the top of their shortlist.

According to Le Parisien, the Parc des Princes outfit will also ask for a fee somewhere between €20m (£17.2m) and €25million (£21.5m), which falls below information RMC Sport ran last week. The Paris-based radio and TV network had claimed PSG would demand at least £26million for the two-time Ligue 1 winning right-back, who is about to enter the final year of his contract.

Meunier knows his time under Thomas Tuchel is coming to an end, and hinted as much earlier this month amid claims that the Premier League was a competition he never hid his admiration for.

Whether he fulfils his dreams with us or someone else remains to be seen, but his season is currently looking over following an innocuous knock suffered against LOSC Lille.
