A recent transfer report has delighted plenty of Everton fans this week.

According to French newspaper Nice-Matin, Ligue 1 outfit Nice have opened negotiations with Toffees midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin over a potential summer move.

More prominent outlet, L’Equipe adds further weight to the claims by suggesting that they’ll pay between €8m (£7.2m) and €10m (£9m) for his services.

Should Everton sell Schneiderlin this summer?

The 30-year-old is quite the divisive figure at Goodison Park, but based on the following reaction below, many would love to see him depart Merseyside ahead of the new season.

Schneiderlin has played just 18 times this campaign, averaging 65 minutes per game, and was not named in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for our final two matches before lockdown.

Some fans even jokingly questioned whether we were actually paying Nice to take him or if they were actually offering money for the veteran midfielder.

    According to another article on here the value is closert to 2m€ that 7 or 9. Absolute joke if true. Dosent even cover his wages this season. Was never good enough for ghe prem never mind us. Gueye made him look like a decent cm first full season he had. United robbed us blind. Shud pay us back for carrying the tool for 4 years
