Sunday afternoon’s clash at Goodison Park between Everton and Crystal Palace would’ve certainly got bums off seats in the final five minutes of the match as manager Marco Silva saw his side take three points from the encounter.

Scoring twice in the final three minutes of regulation time as Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Cenk Tosun found the back of the net, it might help offset criticism they have both received so far this season, but Silva will be delighted to see his own tactical tweaks bring their own reward.

According to statistics website WhoScored, it wasn’t the goalscorers who took the praise though.

25-year-old Michael Keane’s dramatic change of fortunes this season continues as he took their star man award from the game.

Again doing a job at both ends of the pitch, Everton fans are definitely seeing the best of him finally but with a penalty save in the game, goalkeeper Jordan Pickford ran him close with a rating of 8.10.

Idrissa Gueye, Lucas Digne and Kurt Zouma completed our top five on the day with 7+ scores and coming in at sixth place with an assist of his own, maybe Ademola Lookman will continue changing fans perceptions of him given summer shenanigans.
