Everton may have lost 3-2 to Arsenal on Sunday, but fans still reserved praise for Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison. Both players got on the scoresheet and had further opportunities to add to their tallies, but it was Richarlison who was creating the most chances for his teammates.
No player on the pitch created as many opportunities than the 22-year-old, no Everton player made more dribbles, and only Calvert-Lewin had more shots over the 90 minutes. Richarlison was everywhere at the Emirates and fans felt he didn’t deserve to be on the losing team.
Great to see Andre Gomes back, was our best midfielder by far. Richarlison & DCL didn’t deserve to be on the losing side #ARSEVE #EFC #COYB

DCL and Richarlison maybe should have been more clinical in the second half but for me they can not be blamed for that today. Both been incredible since Ancelotti came in. 3 stupid goals conceded today through poor defending. That’s who to blame! #EFC

How much have we missed Gomes. Sigurdsson, Schneiderlin and Delph were completely shown up as frauds by him. Richarlison top class.
Could have won, would have taken a draw but to lose that game hurts like hell. #efc.

There are so many things that point to Richarlison being the real deal. One of them is he scores against the top teams – all the time. Must aim to keep him #EFC #Everton #NSNO

I also don’t think I’ve seen an #EFC side with this big of a chasm between its best players and its worst.
You look at Richarlison, DCL, Gomes etc and think “yeah, top 6 should be the minimum target.”
Conversely, you see Delph, Gylfi, Schneiderlin and think “relegation fight.”

FT 3-2:
– Only DCL & Richarlison performed properly
– Sidibe, Delph , Sigurdsson & Iwobi were terrible
– We should have taken advantage of Arsenal's fatigue in the second half more
– Glad to see Gomes back
– On another day we win this game#EFC #ARSEVE— TheToffees_com (@thetoffees_com) February 23, 2020
Against Arsenal, the Brazilian international had 59 touches, won two aerial duels, completed 64.3% of his 28 passes, created four chances, had four shots with 50% accuracy, made one successful dribble, drew two fouls, made one interception and made one clearance.

Richarlison has made 30 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring and creating 16 goals. The 22-year-old has found the back of the net in four of his last five Premier League outings and will hope to be on the scoresheet when Everton lock horns with Manchester United on Sunday.
