Everton suffered a 3-2 defeat against Arsenal on Sunday and could have drawn the game had Dominic Calvert-Lewin converted some of his opportunities, but fans were still appreciative of his efforts.
The 22-year-old scored a brilliant overhead in the first minute of the game, but he missed chances later in the game that could have led to Everton taking a share of the spoils.
Calvert-Lewin had a close-range effort saved by Bernd Leno after collecting a header from Richarlison in the area. He also steered a header past the post after Bernard crossed the ball in from the right. Fans felt the 22-year-old had a decent game but should have buried more of his chances.

Aaaaand Arsenal get away with it 🙄 They really don't deserve 3 pts at all. But we couldn't make any of many chances we had in 2nd half. DCL, you've still got to learn lots to be a world class striker mate. #EFC 🙄

Thought Dominic Calvert-Lewin was a monster today.
Got his goal, movement was great and won almost everything in the air.
Fancy him in the England squad this summer#EFC #ARSEVE

FT 3-2:
– Only DCL & Richarlison performed properly
– Sidibe, Delph , Sigurdsson & Iwobi were terrible
– We should have taken advantage of Arsenal's fatigue in the second half more
– Glad to see Gomes back
– On another day we win this game#EFC #ARSEVE— TheToffees_com (@thetoffees_com) February 23, 2020
Against Arsenal, Calvert-Lewin played for 90 minutes, had 29 touches, won 10 aerial duels, completed 50% of his 14 passes, had five shots with 60% accuracy, whipped in one cross, made two clearances and drew one foul.
The Englishman has scored and created 15 goals in 30 games across the board for Everton this season. He’s netted in four of his last five Premier League appearances and will hope to fire the Toffees back to winning ways against Manchester United on Sunday.
