Phil Jagielka today completed his move to The Toffees. The deal was finalised after Shef Utd lost their appeal against relegation yesterday, the fee involved is likely to be around £4 million, with the posibility of one Gary Naysmith going the other way. Everton faced competition from Bolton and Wigan for his signature but he had his heart set on the blues, despite being released as a teenager.
Jagielka played in every one of United`s Premier League games last season, including an appearence between the sticks keeping out Arsenal, he scored an impressive 4 goals which compares favourably with all of Evertons full backs and defensive midfielders efforts.
In other news David Nugent is likely to give up on his dream move and sign for Pompey.
