As a group Evertonian’s seem dead set against this move out of town, but the club won’t give up on this cheap option easily. They are in deep discussions with Kirkby residents about the ground and have recently released birds eye photos of how much space the ground would cover, and exactly where it would be.

From my prespective as a resident of Cheshire (but still season ticket holder) should the ground be moved slightly out the boundaries, it will effect my routine very slightly. However the club as a whole will lose a lot of it’s tradition, but the stadium is fast becoming out-dated and may be a more attractive prospect to investors if they have a nice new stadium.
