His time at Everton started well enough, with a final minute penalty save in his first game, followed by a series of impressive performances. The arrival and form of one Nigel Martyn however meant he lost the number one spot, however this cannot be solely blamed for his failings, picking up biazare injuries from falling out of his loft to tripping over a sign training(which had on it ‘Do NOT train in this goal’)and even when fit, was clumsy at best.
This made me a little surprised to see him signing for West Ham today, a team most defiantly on the up. He has moved to Upton Park on a free transfer after leaving Everton after the Chelsea game. In Moyes’s final hit on old Dickie, Iain Turner was picked ahead of him against United.
In five years he managed just 60 league appearances, and made a meaningful impact in around 6.
