Everton welcome League Two side table toppers Lincoln City to Goodison Park for today’s FA Cup third round tie.
With seriously mixed and poor form of late for manager Marco Silva, whilst he’s certainly not panicking when speaking to the media in recent weeks, plenty of fans have voiced their own concerns – and some have even gone as far as calling for the gaffer’s head, wanting him replaced by recently sacked ‘Special One’ Jose Mourinho.
One thing is for sure, this game is a must win as Everton cannot entertain being scalped by lower league opposition and as we look to bolster our Premier League form, a place in the fourth round draw of the 2018/19 competition needs to be secured.
Whilst Everton should have enough to progress, and I mean no disrespect to our in form visitors, Lincoln have proven themselves to be a tough cookie in recent times and defensively we’ll have to be far better than in recent matches.
