Everton fans had plenty to keep an eye on in the past week despite the fact that there was no Premier League action.
The Toffees still had a number of players within their squad in action during the international break, including loanee Nikola Vlasic – who featured for Croatia in the 2-1 defeat to England at Wembley.
21-year-old Vlasic is spending the season on loan with Russian side CSKA Moscow this season after failing to make an impression at Goodison Park – and it seems many fans were not impressed by his display for his national side.
Vlasic played 79 minutes in Croatia’s final UEFA Nations League clash, which saw the defeated World Cup finalists relegated to League B, and he provided the assist for the opening goal. However, he still went under the radar of many fans.
Many took to Twitter to give their assessment and we have gathered some of the best reactions below.
Never heard his name or see him, I come to the conclusion he was on the bench.

Should bring a good profit

Pretty anonymous. He’s tidy but drifts about and doesn’t seem to demand the ball.

Very average imo today against not a great England midfield. He’s at the right place out on loan to develop.

Didn’t even notice he was on the pitch myself. Very insignificant in my opinion
