Everton defender Kurt Zouma is being tipped for a call up to the France national team after an okay start to his career at Goodison Park.
He’s only on loan for the season but it is a big year for him as he either looks to forge a career at Chelsea or get a move elsewhere.
Certainly, it might be the case that we look to sign him though I’d want to see a bit more first but it seems as though France have been impressed.
Indeed, Sport is suggesting that with Samuel Umtiti out for the upcoming international break, Zouma could be called up to fill in.
He’s a powerful, fast defender and so is similar to Umtiti in that respect – though he is not at his level of course.
Even so, I hope he does get the nod as he’d surely be a player that learns from such an experience.
