Opinion: Most might suggest it’s a blow but transfer news is an Everton positive

|

According to Calciomercato, Real Sociedad are reluctant to sign Everton forward Sandro Ramirez on a permanent deal.

The Spanish forward has struggled to really settle in for our side since his arrival and a move back to Spain seemed to make sense for this season.

It seems, though, that the La Liga team is not overly keen on signing him on a permanent, which many of our fans will see as a blow.

Plenty will want to see him let go and a sum come in for him but, actually, this news should be welcomed.

Ramirez has struggled at the club, let’s not pretend, but there is quality there and he still has plenty of time to become a top forward.

I do genuinely feel with the right approach and a run in the side, he’d start scoring goals and when you consider the lack of options we have up top, it’s worth giving him a go.

None of our forwards have been prolific – why not give Sandro the green light?
