Everton have impressed under the guidance of Marco Silva but there is still work to be done, especially regarding the futures of a number of fringe players at Goodison Park.
Ademola Lookman is one of those who has question marks hovering over his head as the youngster has struggled to secure regular football under Silva’s guidance, despite Theo Walcott failing to catch the eye in his regular opportunities.
It seems a major decision now needs to be made on the player as reports state Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is keen on bringing the 21-year-old to the south coast, with the Saints manager wanting to reunite with the man he worked with at RB Leipzig last season.
It remains to be seen whether Everton would accept an approach from their Premier League rivals and whether such a move would be on loan or permanently but that has not stopped Southampton fans from sharing their thoughts on the matter.
We have gathered some of their comments below.
Don’t think it is a silly fee…he’s a quality player and proved himself in bundesliga…would be a great signing.

I could see Saints using some of the salary cleared from Davis and Gabbi to cover a 5 month loan. Lookman gets gametime and experience before returning. SaintsFC get more creativity and more chance to stay up. We won't want too many big new contracts as still in real danger.

Loan to obligatory buy would suit all parties I reckon, but I can’t see Everton budging

Unless Lookman pushes for a move to be with Ralph I can’t see it being permanent. Loan could happen

£30m sounds like an incredible price for someone that had scored 1 goal this season

He was decent when on loan at Ralph’s RB Leipzig. So yes from me.

We were linked when he was at Charlton, so I’m guessing alot of research has gone into him, prob went to Everton for the £
