Everton have shown signs of improvement under the guidance of Marco Silva but there is definitely still work to be done at Goodison Park.
While the Toffees have suffered defeat in just two of their last 10 Premier League matches, Monday’s 2-2 draw with Watford means it is now three games without a win for Everton and improvements are required.
The mood around the club has not been great in recent days, with the general consensus being that two valuable points were dropped against the Hornets, but fans were in more positive spirits as they celebrated a memorable anniversary this week.
Everton’s official social media account pointed out that this week saw 24 years since fan favourite Duncan Ferguson joined the club and it led to a variety of responses on Twitter, with one fan even saying he wants the former striker to be the club’s next manager.
We have gathered some of the comments below.
We didnt have much joy in the 90s, 1995 aside, but what we did have was Big Dunc. Hero to me and one of the nicest fellas you can ever meet with loads of time for the fans.
