Everton have struggled to find consistency so far this season under the guidance of Marco Silva and a crucial run of fixtures is on the horizon.
The Toffees face winnable home matches against Brighton, Cardiff City and Newcastle, the first of which is this weekend, and the importance of those games is increased by the fact that trips to face Liverpool and Chelsea are also on the horizon.
Silva spent heavily in the summer to bolster his squad at Goodison Park and one of his most expensive additions was Yerry Mina, who is still awaiting his debut in English football after struggling with injury issues in the first few months.
With the Colombia World Cup star now seemingly back to full fitness, many Everton fans have taken to social media to urge Silva to make a change in the heart of defence for this weekend’s hosting of Brighton.
