“Some player that” – These Everton fans react as Blues duo’s form recognised

A few Everton fans have been reacting on social media after WhoScored shared that Richarlison and Lucas Digne made their latest in-form Premier League XI.

The line-up consists of the 11 players displaying the best form over their last six top-flight appearances, and must have featured in at least two of their club’s last three games and six of the last eight.

Richarlison and Digne were both new names listed from the previous edition of WhoScored’s form XI, which also featured Liverpool quintet Alisson Becker, Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Jordan Henderson and Roberto Firmino.

Manchester United duo Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire, plus Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne and Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish rounded out the line-up.

Richarlison’s performances over his last six appearances in the Premier League made him the most in-form player in WhoScored’s side with an average rating of 7.99, while Digne ranked as the eight-most in-form player at 7.48.

Richarlison earned his average score with an 8.85 last time out against Crystal Palace on February 8, plus a 7.26 against Watford, 8.77 against Brighton, 7.06 against Man City, 8.19 against Newcastle and a 7.15 against Burnley.

Those fixtures saw the Brazilian hit three of his nine league goals for the season while being credited with one of his three assists. He also recorded five shots against Palace and Brighton, three key balls against Newcastle and three successful dribbles against the Seagulls.

As for Digne, he earned his average score of 7.48 from an 8.38 against Palace, 6.62 against Watford, 7.50 against Newcastle, 7.64 against West Ham, 7.69 against Brighton and 6.53 against Man City.

He also recorded two of his team-high five assists for the top-flight term in that run, having created our winner at home to the Seagulls and second against the Toon.
