On Saturday, Everton hosted Huddersfield Town at Goodison Park for our latest Premier League clash.

The game didn’t go as we’d have hoped as we only took a point from the affair, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin made another impressive showing on the day as he looks for further game time under manager Marco Silva.

Whoscored gave him a rating of 7.40 for his efforts on the day and that was obviously helped by him finding the back of the net in the game from the three efforts he had at goal.

DCL took the plaudits from the game but the top five on the day were completed by Mason Holgate, Lucas Digne, Morgan Schneiderlin and Seamus Coleman but only the top three received ratings of above 7.

Special mention for Digne as he added an assist to his season tally after his summer arrival and the 25-year-old seems to be going from strength to strength as he looks to make the left fullback spot his own.

Three points would’ve been nicer, but I think we can take the positives here, especially as Ademola Lookman finally return to the pitch as a second-half substitute and with his head screwed on properly – well, the opportunity is there for him to take.
