Lucas Digne has issued praise of our fans with the atmosphere at the mid-week game against Rotherham clearly impressing him.
The Blues beat the Millers relatively comfortably in the EFL Cup and now look forward to Huddersfield this weekend in the Premier League.
Certainly, it should be a good game and one we should win given the way we have been playing and Digne is clearly looking forward to getting in front of the home crowd yet again.
As quoted by the club’s official website, he said:
“The fans were amazing.
“I enjoyed it a lot. The stadium was full and for a cup game, it was great.
“It’s better, of course, because the team won we played well. It was a perfect night.”
Some fine praise for the home crowd, then, and I am sure he’ll experience even better atmospheres in games to come this season than a midweek game in the cup.
We’re great at getting behind the boys and making plenty of noise and hopefully we’ll see the same this weekend as we look to keep our good start to the campaign intact against them.
