According to Marca, Barcelona have included a clause in the Yerry Mina deal that states they can sign him for £54m from 2020 onwards.
The player only signed a few weeks ago but already we are seeing it spoken about him going back there as they usually try and do.
Barca regularly bring former players back after they excel elsewhere and so whilst I hope Yerry does the same in terms of doing well, I do hope that Barca aren’t interested in him in the future.
It does make sense that they have done this given his potential but in a few years – given the way the market is going – that might not even seem like a lot of money – it already doesn’t seem so now.
We can only wait and see what happens in the future, though, so let’s just enjoy watching him play now and not worry about it too much.
