According to Calciomercato, Everton are interested in Memphis Depay and may have to battle AC Milan to procure his signature. The 26-year-old is coming off the back of an impressive campaign in France, but he is ‘considering changing’ clubs this summer.

Which club did Everton loan Cenk Tosun out to in January?

It may be surprising that Ancelotti is on the hunt for a winger with Richarlison, Alex Iwobi, Bernard and Theo Walcott at his disposal, but Bernard has been offered out to AS Roma while Walcott may be sold this summer, so replacements may be needed.

Everton have been linked with Jose Callejon, Rafa Silva, Jack Grealish, Cengiz Under, Everton Cebolinha Soares, Philippe Coutinho and Jesse Lingard, but Depay may be top on the wishlist. Calciomercato say his asking price is €30m (£26.74m) while Silly Seasons say his wages are €4.18m-a-year/€80.5k-per-week (£3.73m-a-year/£71.7k-per-week).

The 27-year-old has made 134 appearances since joining Olympique Lyonnais from Manchester United in January 2017, scoring 53 goals and making 43 assists, so he’d be a good addition to the squad. This season, Depay had a hand in 16 goals in 18 games before Ligue 1 ended prematurely, so he’s definitely got quality.

Everton are planning for next season but still have to finish this one. The Premier League will resume in less than two weeks and Everton look set to face Liverpool on June 21.
