Following a heavy defeat to Tottenham Hotspur, Everton got back to winning ways and in great fashion as we made the trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley on Boxing Day.
Goals from Yerry Mina, a Lucas Digne brace, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Richarlison in a 5-1 victory was basically the perfect response from manager Marco Silva’s side and give the scoreline as well as the performance by the players, it was no great surprise to see statistics website Whoscored rate the team incredibly highly.
25-year-old Digne continues to impress at both ends of the pitch and they gave him their star man rating with 9.29 for his efforts.
Completing our top five best performers on the day were Mina (8.47), Michael Keane (8.40), Bernard (8.08) and Sigurdsson (7.79).
Kurt Zouma, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Theo Walcott and Richarlison also received seven-plus scores for their efforts.
