Everton have joined the race to sign Chelsea midfielder, Conor Gallagher on loan during the January window, according to recent reports

Frank Lampard’s side completed somewhat of a midfield rebuild during the summer window, bringing in the likes of Amadou Onana, James Garner and Idrissa Gana-Gueye to aid their recent midfield troubles.

However, with recent news linking the likes of Abdoulaye Doucoure and Tom Davies with moves away from the club in January, the blues may be in need of some midfield reinforcements during the window.

If the club were to let these two leave, they may need a replacement midfielder.

According to The Daily Mail, Everton have joined the race to sign Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on loan during the January window. However, the Englishman has “no interest” in leaving Chelsea in the window.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Selhurst Park with Crystal Palace, where he scored 8 goals and provided 3 assists in 34 Premier League games.

He was expected to become an important player for Chelsea when returning from hos loan deal. However, he has only made 17 appearances for the blues since returning, scoring 1 goal and getting 1 assist in that time.

Gallagher would be an impressive signing for EFC, especially considering the likes of Crystal Palace and Newcastle also being interested in acquiring his signature.
