Everton have had a late loan bid for Watford winger, Ismaila Sarr rejected with just over an hour lest in the January transfer window, according to recent reports.
With less than 2 hours left in the January transfer window, Everton are yet to sign a single player despite sitting in 19th in the Premier League with less than half the season to play.
The club announced the appointment of Sean Dyche as their new first-team manager after sacking Frank Lampard and reportedly assured him that he would be given 2 or 3 signings by the transfer deadline.
However, there is yet to be one player through the door and the toffees seem to be rushing to get a deal over the line by the deadline, with the latest potential deal being for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr.
According to The Athletic, Everton have made a late loan bid in an attempt to sign Senegalese winger, Ismaila Sarr but it was swiftly rejected.

Proposal was loan fee plus obligation to buy if Everton stayed up plus bonuses.

The report states that Everton wanted to pay a loan fee of £2 million to the Championship club and also included an obligation to buy the 24-year-old for around £30 million.
Sarr has been one of Watford’s star performers so far this season, scoring 7 goals and grabbing 5 assists in the Championship this season.
With Anthony Gordon departing for Newcastle United last week, Sarr could have proven a decent replacement. However, it seems that Everton have, again, left any potential deal too late.
