If Everton are to complete a deal with Atletico Madrid for midfielder Josuha Guilavogui then they are going to have to fight off advances from German side Wolfsburg.
Both sides are interested in signing the French international after he failed to settle in Spain following a ?10 million move from Saint-Etienne a year ago.
Despite signing a five-year-deal 12 months ago, it is thought that Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is looking to offload the 23-year-old for around £9million.
He has made just one appearance in La Liga since the move and ended last season back with Saint-Etienne on loan.
