According to various reports across the internet and in Spain, Everton are set to complete the signing of Columbian international Carlos Sanchez.
Apparently Everton have triggered a release clause in the 28 year old midfielder’s contract, forcing Spanish side Elche to allow Everton to speak to the player and his representatives.
Further reports suggest that those representatives have been seen at Everton’s training ground at Finch Farm.
The proceedings could be so advanced that Sanchez is likely to become Everton’s second signing of the summer following Gareth Barry.
It is also thought that Everton’s move MK Dons midfielder Brendan Galloway is still on the cards.
