Back at the start of last month Vital Everton reported that we had been linked with a £4million move for MK Dons midfielder Brendan Galloway.

The Daily Mail had reported that Everton could well make a move for 18-year-old over the summer, with the British national newspaper valuing him at £4million.

Galloway, according to our friends over on Vital MK believe that versatility is one of Galloway’s assets as he can play in midfield and defence.

Galloway was born in Zimbabwe, but has gone on to represent England at Under 17, Under 18 and Under 19 level.

After becoming the youngest first team player in Milton Keynes Dons’ history at 15 years of age, he has made 17 appearances to-date, including 13 appearances last season ending the season with a sending off against Rotherham.

Reports on the transfer then when quiet, but have re-emerged this week.

The Milton Keynes Citizen have reported that ‘Galloway is on the brink’ of joining Everton in a ‘big money’ move.

Galloway has yet to join up with MK Dons for pre-season training and isn’t part of their squads trip to Ireland.
