Everton are considering a move for former Real Madrid and Sevilla midfielder, Isco with the Spaniard currently without a club after mutually agreeing to terminate hiscontract with his last club, Sevilla in December, according to recent reports

Heading into the January transfer window it was widely believed that Everton needed to sign at least 2 players to bolster their squad to aid their battle against relegation in the second half of the season.

The club reportedly assured  new manager, Sean Dyche that he would be allowed to make ‘2 or 3 signings’ before the end of the transfer window. However, after a month of attempting to complete any deal possible, Everton still walked away empty handed.

In fact, the sale of Anthony Gordon to Newcastle United with a week left in the window and the blues failing to sign a replacement means that they have exited the window with a weaker squad than which they entered it with.

However, Everton could still utilise the free agents market to bolster their squad, with Andre Ayew the latest player touted with a move to Goodison Park.
