Yesterday evening Everton confirmed the speculation that we would be signing Brazilian attacker Richarlison from Watford.

The 21-year-old makes the switch from Vicarage Road to Goodison Park for an undisclosed fee and the winger has signed a five-year contract with us as he teams up with manager Marco Silva once more.
With the rumour mill suggesting that the upfront price for the player would be in the region of £30-35 million with significant add-ons that could take the deal to a potential £50million, it’s difficult to not look at him taking the No 30 shirt as an indication of just how much faith we are showing in the young lad as whilst he has bags of talent, at that age he is inconsistent.

In Silva, fans will trust and he does obviously become our first capture of the summer so far.
