Big money Deadline Day move could yet go through as late play is made

|

It would appear that the Idrissa Gueye rumours are going to go to the wire today with a new side emerging as serious contenders for his signature.

It had looked as though he’d be off to PSG before too long this window but that seems to be off the table now and, according to Teamtalk, it’s Arsenal who are linked with him now.

The Gunners are looking to make a late play for the midfielder and have made an enquiry over his availability with hours left in the window.

Indeed, it’s thought that they are willing to match our asking price of £40 million and so we could yet see him leave the club before the window shuts.

Personally, I hope that he stays put but if Arsenal are ready to cough up, the club might well be tempted to let him go.

Time will soon tell, then, as we approach 11pm.
