Rushden & Diamonds have completed the loan signing of Everton goalkeeper John Ruddy.

Rushden boss Barry Hunter told the official website: ‘I am very pleased he has agreed to join us because he is a talented young goalkeeper. He has come from a higher league, but he is also experienced at playing in League Two. He will be a great addition to the squad, helping to fill the void left by Andy Woodman’s injury.’
