The Nigerian striker is reportedly, and again I stress the word, reportedly, a target for David Moyes, who has just matched six numbers and the bonus ball on the lottery.
Yakubu, a close friend of Joseph Yobo, has been linked with moves away from the North East throughout the summer, however, only the Premier League’s most well off are able to match his inflated transfer fee it seems (so how are Everton financing this deal?!)
Moyes is willing to offer £10,000,000 for the burly and skillful forward, yet again smashing the club’s transfer record currently held by Andrew Johnson.
Whether the deal comes to fruition, only time will tell, as Gareth Southgate’s side are digging their heals in (fair play to them.)
