Everton have performed valiantly under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa this season, making decent progress in the Premier League and boasting a vein of form that has seen them lose just twice in their last nine matches.
Plenty of praise has been directed towards the Toffees following an impressive spending spree in the summer, with the likes of Richarlison, Andre Gomes, Lucas Digne and Yerry Mina quickly establishing themselves as fan favourites.
However, there is still work to be done at Goodison Park and one area of concern has been in the final third – where Everton continue to lack consistency in front of goal having failed to replace Romelu Lukaku.
Richarlison has carried the mantle well when called upon this season but the young Brazilian is certainly more effective in the wide positions, which has left some Everton fans discussing who they would like to see drafted in when the window reopens next month.
