Everton secured a decent result on the road against Chelsea on Sunday, holding Maurizio Sarri’s side to a goalless draw.
The Toffees have historically struggled in their trips to Stamford Bridge and the fact that Chelsea remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season left the odds stacked against Marco Silva’s side heading into the game.
However, the visitors put in a resilient display to keep the title-chasing Blues at bay and Silva looks to have found some rhythm in charge of the Merseyside outfit – although not everyone was impressed by his latest team selection.
Plenty of fans on social media expressed their frustration that Theo Walcott retained his spot in the starting line-up despite consistent under-par performances, with some calling for Bernard or Ademola Lookman to be handed an opportunity.
