Everton are starting to find some rhythm under the guidance of Marco Silva but difficult ties are on the horizon, with the Toffees set to travel to face Chelsea and Liverpool over the course of the coming weeks.
Victory over Brighton at the weekend has given the Merseyside outfit a platform to build upon heading towards a busy stage of the season and Silva may be forced to dip deeper into his squad to keep things fresh.
That could prove to be beneficial for Oumar Niasse, who has featured just twice in the Premier League this season, and he may have given his manager something to think about after finding the back of the net this week.
Niasse was on the scoresheet for Everton in their 4-0 drubbing of African side Gor Mahia at Goodison Park on Tuesday, where the Toffees were crowned winners of the Sport Pesa trophy in a mid-season friendly.
A well-taken goal led to many fans talking on social media and we have gathered some of the best reactions below.
Good win and it was nice to see Oumar score an excellent goal. Great squad game and it was interesting to see how Mina performed with the Chelsea game head of us. Many players excelled and perhaps we may not approach the Chelsea game with undue trepidation.
