“A Quick Word” isn’t a new game even if it’s a slightly more catchy title, it’s good old word association and the quick-witted and devilish can have a lot of fun with it with some thought.
With the 29-year-old fullback Seamus Coleman being the first up for the new series plenty of fans were happy to read something else into that.
Having posted it up on the clubs’ twitter account, the clamour for Coleman to be given the armband was palpable. The experienced Republic of Ireland international is a fan favourite and one lad that everyone believes wears his heart on his sleeve in the performances and effort he puts in, so they see the need for that to be rewarded – not least the impact Coleman could have doing the job as skipper on a full-time basis moving forward under manager Marco Silva.
if this man isn't captain on Saturday, we riot. He's our leader, everyone can see it, from the way he talks to the way he acts off the pitch. He's one of the most 'Everton' players in recent history.

The video makes a decent watch, but I doubt there are many who don’t agree with the thrust of the comments.
