Marco Silva’s comments about Morgan Schneiderlin should help allay fears that he is going to be out for a long time.
The midfielder hasn’t always played often for our club but he has started this season in the side and is looking good under Marco Silva.
Certainly, on form he could be a top player for us and hopefully he’ll get a run in the team to really start having an impact.
His chances of that remain decent, too, with Silva saying he has only got a minor muscle problem at the moment.
As quoted by the Echo, he said:
“It is still really early to say anymore about that but it looks a small problem in his muscle but we have to wait a few more hours to be right about it.”
Nothing is certain at the moment but if it was more serious I think Silva would have let on.
These comments suggest that it’s only a minor issue and so hopefully he’ll be back on the pitch sooner rather than later for us.
