As per the Independent, Everton have received a £22 million offer from German side Red Bull Leipzig as they try to take the winger back to the Bundesliga.
A player with the potential to become very good, it’s clear that they want him after seeing him excel on loan there last season.
We also saw that too, though, and we want him to stay put with bids being rejected for the winger already by us from the German club.
They don’t appear to be getting deterred, though, and so it could be some time until his future is completely resolved.
Indeed, we’ve still got well over a week left for players to leave and so we might not have heard the last of this – even if we decide to reject this offer as well.
Personally, too, I’d only accept a bid if it absolutely blew us out of the water because he could be some player.
