According to Raffaele Amato of Calciomercato, Everton are showing interest in Adrien Rabiot and could make a move for the 24-year-old at the end of the campaign. Rabiot only joined Juventus last summer and has been a regular under Maurizio Sarri, but his performances are said to have been below-par, so a move away from Turin could be on the cards.
Would Adrien Rabiot be a good signing for Everton?
Yes
No
Everton wanted Rabiot’s signature before he left Paris Saint-Germain for Juve and could certainly do with him now – Jean-Philippe Gbamin has spent his debut season sidelined with a quadriceps injury, Andre Gomes spent three months out with an ankle fracture, Morgan Schneiderlin recently picked up his third injury of the season and Fabian Delph has had three injuries already.
Calciomercato say Juventus have requested £25.8m for Rabiot, and the French international could demand £6m-a-year in wages. He’d be an improvement on Tom Davies and Morgan Schneiderlin while briefly playing under Ancelotti in the past, so Everton may consider him worth the money. Whether they make a move in the summer transfer window remains to be seen.
