Report: Everton have to pay €15m and €0.9m-a-year in wages to sign right-midfielder

According to Le10 Sport, Everton are interested in Adam Marusic and may have to battle Paris Saint-Germain for his signature. The 27-year-old has been short of playing time at Lazio and could be moved on in the coming months.

Le10 Sport say Marusic will be granted a departure after spending the majority of the season behind Manuel Lazzari in the pecking order, but Everton have a task on their hands to beat out interest from PSG.

Which club did Everton loan Cenk Tosun out to in January?

Marusic has made 83 appearances in all competitions since joining Lazio from KV Oostende in 2017, scoring seven goals and making six assists. He’s made 10/35 appearances this season, a significant drop from previous campaigns – 2017/18 (39 appearances), 2018/19 (34 appearances) – so he won’t be missed.

Everton are on the hunt for a right-sided player as Carlo Ancelotti is unsure who will be his first-choice next season – Seamus Coleman has two years left on his deal, Djibril Sidibe may not be signed permanently and Jonjoe Kenny wants to stay on loan at Schalke 04.

Le10 Sport say Marusic has a €15m (£13.37m) asking price while Gazzetta dello Sport via The Turin Crowd say he earns €0.9m-a-year (£0.8m-a-year) at Lazio – he won’t break the bank.
